What it does
Clotr for Android is a keyboard. Switch it on and pick it as your keyboard, and inside the AI apps it recognizes it reads your message the way the browser extension reads a chat box. A card number or a password brings up a strip above the keys with Hide it and Leave it in. Everywhere else it's an ordinary keyboard, and it skips password boxes.
The app around it checks your phone's files too, with a Quick scan of Downloads, photos and chat apps, and ends on the same What to do first list as the Windows app. It asks for no internet permission, so nothing typed or scanned leaves the phone.
Help test it
Google Play wants a new app tested by real people before it goes public. If you have an Android phone and a couple of weeks, that's the part I need help with.
What you get
- Clotr for Android before anyone else, free, installed from Google Play like any app.
- A say in what it becomes. If a warning confuses you, I want to hear it before launch.
What it asks of you
- An Android phone running Android 10 or newer.
- Keeping it installed for about two weeks.
- A few lines of feedback, whenever something breaks or reads oddly.
Send it from the Google account your phone uses, and I'll reply with the link to the test on Google Play.
After Android
Safari and iPhone come later, once Android is out and people are using it. Until then, the browser extension and Clotr for Windows cover the computer.
